- Console Connection to SuperStack II 500
- Posted by Matt Bayliss on August 18th, 2003
Hi,
I'm trying to get a Console connection to the above using a null-modem
cable. On the back it says 9600,8,n,1 so I've set my terminal emulator up
for VT100, with the specified settings.
According the the manual I wake up the console by pressing enter a few
times. Nothing happens.
I've tested the cable by term'ing from com1 to com2, which seems OK.
Anyone got any experience of doing this with a SuperStack II and can give me
any hints?
Cheers,
Matt

I can get a console connection to a SuperStack II Switch 3300 using the same
settings/bit of kit.
