- LAN ok but no internet
- Posted by subzero on June 23rd, 2005
I have a fresh install of a win2k box. Lan is working ok (also AD), but
i cannot ping an outside IP (DNS of my ISP). I can ping the firewall
(sonicwall), all other pc's can go on the internet. I have tried a
other pc on my cable without problems, changed my NIC without success.
I verified my settings a zillion times. The problem is that i cannot
log on to the firewall (no password), but i see the logon screen via
http. But since I have the problem with different NIC's and ip's I
don't think the problem is the firewall. I also use static IP's.
thanks
