- AOL and wireless router

I have a computer with internet via AOL 9 and want to setup a wireless router
so I can allow another computer to have the internet too.
Does the second computer need AOL installed on it?
I would rather just use Internet explorer. What settings do I need to put in
Internet explorer to find the internet from the wireless router?
