- Cannot Ping Local Host

Hi All Gurus
I am having this weard problem.
when i ping localhost, workstation name, Ip address
all of them return me the same output.
"reply from :::1: time"
"reply from :::1: time"
"reply from :::1: time"
"reply from :::1: time"
When i did ipconfig /all here is the output.
I am using WinXP sp2.

Nik,
Do you perchance have Teredo Tunneling aka IPV6? Remove that, unless you
intentionally want to try using it.

yes i uninstalled it. thanks
Now much cleaner output of IPCONFIG
, but the issues still exists.
I cannot ping my Laptop from any resources, The heldesk wants to formate my
machine. but i am little reluctunt to do so as this seems to be a fixable
