- Cannot use ipconfig/release or renew, etc.

I have found that my computer had I-Worm/Sober.S. It believe it has now been
removed, but now my 2 computer network is inoperative. Network connections
cannot "repair" with the message "Failed to queryTCP/IP settings of the
connection." Then I tried ipconfig/release, with the message "an internal
error occured" and to contact MS Support. I tried a new setup with Network
Wizard with no help. When I go to the Local Area Connection, and the support
tab, probably no surprise there is nothing listed, and as mentioned "repair"
is no joy.
Also in Internet Explorer, I am unable to go to the http://192.168.0.1 for
my D-link router where I thought their Wizard would allow me to fix it.
Any suggestions will REALLY be appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks Philip,
I downloaded the software from both sites, and ran them on the "sick"
machine.
The Winsockxpfix program ran and then did a reboot, but the problem
remained. I then tried to run the Network Wizard, but that didn't bring it
back. I then ran the LSPfix program, but it didn't come up with anything.
Are there any other options, short of an entire reinstall?
Thanks for any suggestions.
