- corrupted Client for Microsoft Network
- Posted by Tech dude on February 22nd, 2006
Hey all,
I have a problem with a corrupted Client for Microsoft Network.
I can't uninstall it or to go it's properties.
Secondary issues are that the workstation service doesn't launch properly.
I am hoping I can get away from a rebuild. I am 3 months from buying new
hardware and I'll ahve to do a new install then. I just need this box to
last a few more months
I have no problems editing the registry or replacing system files, so even
if it's a complex solution, it's no problem
Thanks in advance

This has come up a couple of times recently.
# Un install the network adapter from Device Manager.
# Restart the system, and let the system detect and reinstall the network
adapter.
# Restart the system, and rerun the Network Setup Wizard.
