- dsl netmeeting call

hi guys,
i have a dsl connection at my home and i am trying to call
at my home through dsl, now the in my home network my computer has
address 192.168.1.2 and in wan the given ip address i am taking from
the router's page. and trying to call at home with that ip address(i'm
not disconnceting and reconnecting the connections meanwhile ). but i
am getting that the caller is not able to accept your call . i checked
it more than 6 times but i am not able to connect to my home. Does
anyone have any idea about what the problem can be??

Have you checked to be sure that the network equipment and/or firewall
software at your home (or for that matter, from the calling location if
applicable) is allowing calls to be routed to the PC there? Check the
instructions that came with your VoIP hardware or software and they should
talk about firewalls and opening ports and such.
