- enabling file sharing

Windows XP. Networked to a LAN. Logged in as Administrator. Unalbe to
enable file sharing. Firewalls configured for file sharing. Using Windows
Explorer to enable file or folder sharing, the Sharing and Security option
does not display when right clicking on a drive or folder.

Thanks Steve. Your suggestion provided the Sharing and Security menu item
under Windows Explorer. When I try to turn on sharing on any drive, I
receive an error message "An error occurred while trying to share DRIVE_D
(D). Ther Server service is not started. The shared resource was not
created at this time."
Any suggetion for getting past this error?
