File Sharing

Okay, this has been blowing my mind. I have two computers networked
wirelessly. One is connected directly to the wireless transmitter, while the
other is conntected wirelessly. Ive tried many times to allow mutual
filesharing between both, but only one of them can access the other computers
files. When i try to access the computer that is connected wirelessly it
keeps telling me "\\computer name is not accessible. The network path was not
found." The thing is, the other one works find and can get files fine. Any
help would be appreciated.

That error message is quite often the result of
some Firewall program not being configured
properly. Do you have any Firewalls installed?
Or it may be that User permissions have not
been configured properly. What operating system
is installed on both computers? When you mention
the "wireless transmitter" are you actually talking
about a wireless router?

Bob,

There are several possibilities for this problem.
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html>
http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/1...isibility.html

The error "...network path was not found" is a name resolution or connectivity
issue.
