linking a URL

I would like to know how to link a URL, when posted in a message so that all
you have to do is put the curser on it and click. I can't find the
information anywhere so it must be simple. Thanks

What program are you using to post messages?
What about just copying and pasting the URL?
Like:
http://www.google.com/
I copied that URL from the Address bar of
Internet Explorer and pasted it into this message
Alternative might be:
Click on Insert - Click on Hyperlink
....if your program supports that feature
