- Local Area Connection Transmittals

Hi, I noticed that my local area connection icon keeps blinking the light
blue colour indicating some transmittance of data. The only thing is, it does
this when I'm not using the Internet or any application that requires the
Internet. Is this normal? I am connected to a home network through a
router...?
