Login Script issue
Posted by Dorian Clinton on October 10th, 2005

I did a quick scan through previous posts, and didn't see this one posted...
I have a user who is frequently out of the office, or in other branch
offices. When he is connected to the network, and logs in his login script
is not running. It appears that he is logging in w/cached credentials. He
has to manually run the script after logging in (Start --> Run -->
\\dcserver\netlogon\script.bat). I have verified that he has a good network
connection at his desk (tested patch cable, tested drop, logged in
successfully on another computer atteched to this drop), I have deleted his
local profile and had him login again, I have rebuilt his TCP/IP stack, I
have verified that the correct script is entered in his user properties. I
do not want to force the script to run synchronously due to the fact that he
is a mobile user. Is there anything else that i can check or do short of
rebuilding his user account? Any help would be appreciated.
