- Powerline Networking

I've been thinking about going this route through my home network, but I am
not sure on some things.
My home network consists with a Linksys router linked to my main computer
and 2 other PC's. The downstream is 6 Mbps and approximately 750 KB upstream.
I used wireless cards in the other 2 PC's. The downstream on both is about
2.5 Mpbs with 320 Kps upstream.
If I use a Powerline Ethernet bridge on the 2 PC's, am I looking at
increasing this speeds closer to my main computer?
Just curious to know more about this powerline networking.
Thanks
