Windows XP Home. Have wireless router. Laptop works ok on wireless but
Destop machine hard wired to router gets slower and slower til I either
"Repair" in Network Connections - or sometimes must reboot.

Also have VoiP before wireless router - fed by RoadRunner. I was having
trouble with phone and speed but put in an amplifier before the Cable Modem
and all works good except for degradation on desktop over time.

Really feel that there is some configuration problem in Windows XP or
Internet Explorer. Neither Vonage or RoadRunner have been of help.
