what if the node type shows "unknown" on both of the networked computers? I
am having an issue where I am not able to view saved video on the main
computer (xp home) or listen to music on main computer (xp home) via the
second networked computer. I am not able to do so wired or wireless?

ANY help would be MUCH appreciated!!!

Node type "Unknown" is OK. The only one that I've seen cause a
problem is "Peer-to-Peer".

You can set the node type to "Broadcast" or "Mixed" and see if it
helps.
