REM FILE SHARE - not enough server storage is available to process
Posted by mrndnjn on May 4th, 2006

I have a new computer that will not let me unc into it's administrative share
or a share that I created. I

turned off firewall feature.

I added a share and set permissions to everyone and full security rights
established in the DACL. I am in domain admins group. I continue to receive
the error: NOT ENOUGH SERVER STORAGE IS AVAILABLE TO PROCESS THIS COMMAND.

I have never had an issue setting up file shares on my network in the past.

Any ideas? Thanks!

This is a well known problem. It's caused by an obscure system setting,
IRPStackSize, being changed, generally by antivirus applications.

Thanks Chuck. I increased it to 15 since it did not exist and it did not
work. I increased it to 50 and bingo! Wonderful community!
