Setting up a Network using a Single Network cable

I am in the process of setting up a PC - PC home network using a single CatV
Cable. The Network is connected; however, I can see the shares of the
Non-Internet Computer (XP Home) from the Internet Computer (XP Pro), but I am
getting Access Denied, you may not have the Permissions message when I access
the shares of the Internet PC from the Non-internet PC. How do I get it to
see the shares? Is it because I am using XP Home on the one PC?
