I have a desktop PC running XP Home connected through a router and cable
modem to the internet. The desktop is not on a domain. A laser printer is
connected to this PC. I often also use my work laptop at home. The laptop
runs XP Pro on a domain (ad.companyname.com). I use VPN to connect to my
office network. I have admin rights on the laptop. I want to print on the
desktop laser printer from the laptop and share files between the two PCs.
How do I do this?

cached credentials), and have an IP address on the home network, you
