Sharing files

I have a desktop and a laptop on a home wireless network.
From my desktop I can access shared folders on my laptop.
But from my laptop I can't access or even see the shared folders on the
desktop.
I've tried everything. Can you help?

Julio,

First, check for misconfigured / overlooked firewalls, and for registry setting
restrictanonymous.
Misconfigured / overlooked firewalls:

Registry setting restrictanonymous:

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, and we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:

Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. What you learn
may help others in the future, and that's the purpose of these forums.
