- Something Wrong With Internet Configuration. Help!

Hi, I am having an issue getting out into the internet. Everthing was working
fine until I un-installed a anti-spyware program (Spyware Doctor) and after
removing it I cannot get out into the internet. I know im connected for I can
play video games online but nothing else will get out (Yahoo Messenger, IE,
Firefox etc).
Any idea on what my have gone wrong?
