turning off home network that was setup with network wizard
Posted by jbdobie on November 24th, 2007

Can someone please help me? I have started a home network using the network
wizard. As a result the shared docs folder is now shared. I no longer wish to
have a network. Although I will continue to use a router to share an internet
connection. How do I undo what the network wizard has done?

Hi
If you continue to use the Internet do not touch the Network.
Shares are set on the specific device (or folder).
Start Windows Explorer, point to the shared device (folder), right click on
the icon, choose the Sharing entry, click and use the Sharing menus to
Unshare each device/folder.
