My home-built computer is connected via a network card and cable to my
Linksys WRT54G router. I have an HP printer hanging off a Dell computer that
has a wireless adapter. I also have a Toshiba laptop and a Sony computer,
all of which are wireless. Here is the issue: all of the wireless computers
see each other on the network and can see and use the printer as well as
share files, however, the "wired" HP computer doesn't see any of them. It
shows only itself in the workgroup. I have checked and the workgroup name is
the same on all computers. I can ping the Dell computer from the home-built
computer, and it gets a response. I can also ping the router and all is well.
Any ideas on why I can't see the other wireless computers from this wired
one? I have tried disabling both the NDVIDIA firewall that is in my ASUS
SLI-Deluxe motherboard, and the windows firewall, but it didn't make a
difference. I also see the same subnet in ipconfig /all.
Help please...
