- Windows can't configure wireless connection
- Posted by mickey on June 15th, 2008
My Dell laptop with XP Home loses the setting for Windows to connect
wireless. I have to reset each time by doing "run" , "services.msc", then
click on "Start" under Configure Zero Wireless Connection. The problem may
in that window, "Apply" is dimmed so I can only click OK. Any ideas what's
the matter with that setting?

If Wireless Zero Configuration isn't staying started, you probably have
the Dell wireless configuration utility active. You can have one or the
other in charge of your wireless adapter -- not both.
