- XP Bridge
- Posted by Dan on February 20th, 2006
I have a router that does my dhcp and dns. My upstairs Windows XP box
connects to it through a wireless card. That XP box also has an
ethernet card hooked to another PC through a crossover cable, but there
isn't anything configured on that segment, yet.
The other box runs DOS 5 and Win 3.12, but I'll first configure the
network on that machine with "another" OS. I haven't the slightest
idea what order to do things in. When I bridge the two LANs, I lose
the internet on the XP box.
Any useful thoughts?
Thanks,
Dan
