Hi, i did a quick scan through the group and couldn't find anything
similar, so hopefully this hasn't been asked before.
I have a Win2000 server as our domain controller, which works great when
connecting using Win2000 pro.
However, we joined the domain on an XP Pro box, can login to the domain
fine, but when we try to set any file sharing permissions or security
permissions, it doesn't display any of the domain accounts, it only
display the local computer users and groups. And when we try and switch
the location from the local computer to the domain, it doesn't give us
any choice but the local computer.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Andy
After reading a few related posts, i double-checked the primary DNS
setting and sure enough, it was wrong. I set it to the domain controller
IP and it works fine now.
