Hot dog! I spent three hours and finally fixed the XP
update "stall after EULA." I did it by editing the hosts
file as other users have sucessfully done. I added
208.172.158.234 space space space
download.windowsupdate.com to the hosts file and it's
working! I guess I'm glad I usually use a macintosh.

The site has a dynamyic IP address. So this "fix" is temporary.
