I downloaded the Internet Explorer updates and now I can't
open attachments from family and friends. Can anyone help
me? Thank you

tools, options, security. There is a spot there to check to allow
attachments. Don't uncheck it though unless you are sure you won't open any
attachments that contain a virus.
