Hi, hope you can help with Windows XP Pro. Whenever I restart the computer, the "Automatic Update" box shows up showing me that there is 1 Critical Update and 1 Security Update available. However, when I use the Windows Update control panel to "Scan for Updates", there are no updates to install (meaning my system is up-to-date)

Now I fear that perhaps the "Automatic Update" is broken and perhaps I will download some malicious code or virus if I use it. Wouldn't Scan for Updates show me if I need an update
