That's what I get when I try to install downloaded
patches from Windows Update. The denial says that the
downloads aren't able to be attached to a Build 2600.
Any ideas? Thanks Kevin.

You have Windows XP Release Candidate 1.
All licenses for RC1 expired with the release of Windows XP more than
two years ago.
You need to buy a legal version of Windows XP.

Wow, I guess that makes sense then. I inherited the
computer with boasts of 'it already has all the software'.
