- Computer restarts by itself

I have an HP522 PC running Windows XP. When I do a cold
boot, the system will run for about 4 minutes and then
reboot. After the reboot, the computer seems to run fine.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

For a start, right click on My computer, choose Advanced then Startup
& Recovery Settings. Switch off Automatically Restart. Next time you
cold boot/run for 4 minutes you should be presented with an error
condition which may give you a clue as to what is causing it.
