- Critical updates

I've tried to install the critical updates 819696 and
823559 and keep getting the following error, and it won't
install either updates...
The following items failed to install. To try installing
them again, click Review and install updates, and then
click Install Now again.
Anyone having the same problem? I'm running Windows98.
