Dear all,
I have shortly bought a new CD-ROM R/RW, ref subject
above, and can not use all its functions: as soon as I
insert a CD (Readable or Rewritable) the system stops
working until the CD is ejected again.
I have tested it on a computer having Windows XP - all was
OK (Read/Write functions.
I wonder if the mulfunction is related to my operating
system Windows ME?

This sounds more like a hardware problem compared with a software... Have
you spoken to who ever you bought it off?
