- Debian Sarge

This is not necessarily a Linux success so much as a Debian success.
I installed Debian Sarge onto an AMD K6-500 w/384MB RAM and 28GBs of Hard
Drive. I had previously installed Mandrake 9.1, which is a good system but
is designed for a more powerful system. Under Mandrake 9.1 it was quite
sluggish (even though it's fine on my Athlon 800 system). The AMD K6-500
machine is now almost as fast - and sometimes it seems as responsive - as
my Athlon 800.
I've always loved Debian but was disappointed by the age of the apps.
Debian Sarge changes that. Great job guys!
