deleting updates

i was just wondering if it is possible to delete the
updates without running system recovery or system
restore? I think this may be my problem because i
downloaded every update off the website. Occasionally, i
am having problems with the taskbar freezing, while other
times it is fine. I have maximized my RAM and ran disc
defragmenter and even downloaded ad-aware 6 to delete
tracking software. If anyone could help, it is much
appreciated.

I have xp and I find most of the uninstall files in
my "window's" folder.Almost all can be uninstalled except
for sp1 and some others.I normally save the "installers
for each update that way I don't have to go back to the
site to d/l them.I do this by finding and then saving the
installer from the temp files after the microsoft site has
installed the update on my computer.
