Right click DESKTOP, click Properties.
Click Settings tab, click Advanced button.
Set DPI to 96 dpi (you will probably find it set at 120 dpi).

I guess if you go with the higher resolution that 120 dpi gives on the
wide screen, features like "accept", or "agree" buttons won't fit in the
space provided; so you have to change the font or dpi.

Got this right from Dell support FAQ:

Q:I cannot see the Ok or Yes buttons to accept Windows Updates.

A:Lower your video DPI setting from 120 to 96.

Then install the Windows Update and return the DPI setting to 120.

# Lower DPI:

Click on Start, Control Panel, Display.
Click on the Setting Tab, then the Advanced Button.
Look for "DPI Settings" and change it to 96.
You will get a warning, click OK.
Click Apply.
You will get another warning about "Required Files Already on your computer"
Simply click Yes.
You will be placed back at the Settings Tab, click Close.
Click YES to restart.
