- Device Driver Error
- Posted by Dave on August 30th, 2003
Every once in a while, well just about every day, my
computer randomly flashes a blue screen that says "Driver
IRQ not less or equal" it also displays some "Stop"
error and than my computer restarts. I have a good
feeling it's because of my cable modem that was recently
installed, but how do i make it stop? Any sugguestions
would be appreciated. Thanks

if it just started after installing the cable modem. Go to
the manufaturer's site and get the latest drivers,
uninstall the modem then re-instal it using the updated
drivers. Be sure nothing else is running when doing the
install.
