Same here I'm not running Netop
and I'm completly clueless for the moment.
Got a similar computer which does not have this problem

Oisten,
Please create a new post and post additional details including the operating
system and the Windows Update.log file from the c:\windows or c:\winnt
directory.
To view the Windows Update log file
Copy and paste "%windir%\windows update.log" (w/o the quotes)
into the Internet Explorer address bar and hit Enter.
Scroll down to the current date and look for the error being reported.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, version 5.1 SP1, with all the
latest Critical Updates. FYI, the automatic critical
update tool is working. Only the Windows Update website
appears to be giving me problems.
