FYI.

Got an error trying to download from winupdate, 0x800A138F.
Previous discussions in this FAQ mentioned something about
the HOSTS file.
I had some entries there because I didn't want to have
advertise popups, which worked quite well.
When I cleared the HOSTS file I could suddenly download
from winupdate.

Thanks for the tip worked like a box full of charmed
things. All I did was rename my host file for the duration
of the update and then back again afterwards.
May you always walk on the sunner path.
