- error 800A138F occurs when scan for updates on Windows XP pro

i've seen the troubleshooter in the windows updates website, but it
useless.
i've disabled antivirus and firewall programs, and even deleted all
the content in Program Files\Windowsupdate and Program
Files\Windowsupdate\V4 except the iuhist.xml in the Program
Files\Windowsupdate\V4 folder. but this error still occur. what should
i do now?
appreciated for any help
