Received code 0x800c0005 while trying to check for
windows update.

Hi Harley,
Quick update for those who are afflicited with no MSN
updates or Outlook Express. If by chance you installed
McAfee Firewall (the free version), this is probably the
culprit. You will either have to rewrite the SQL (it
blocks your access port 80 for updates) or delete it. Good
luck!
