when playing 3d games my system hangs occasionally. my
graphics card is an nvidia 5200 fx, my operating system
is xp professional. i have downloaded the windows update
that is supposed to tackle this problem, as well as the
couple of updates associated with nvidia products. this
has not solved the problem. my agp slot is only x4 but
the card is x8 although im told this shouldnt matter. im
running direct x 9. i have an athlon xp 2400 and 512 mb
ram. i also had this problem with my old graphics card
(which also was nvidia).
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Can you please send me the contents of the "minidump" folder that is in your
"windows' directory?
From these I may be able to help you find out the problem.....
Also make sure that you have the latest motherboard drivers installed (this
will also update your AGP driver).
