I have downloaded windows update for hang errors but when I play a DVD on my p.c. it still stops playing and tells me that there is a hang error application. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this???? Lost

What operating system? Any idea what update may have caused the errors?
If you're running Windows XP you can restore tot he state before installing
the update.
