- How do I "patch" XP?
- Posted by Carroll Carruth on August 15th, 2003
I've been told: "Please note that you can be attacked
and/or infected regardless if your Virus software is up
to date or not. The ONLY way to prevent this WORM/xploit
is to have every PC Service Packed to the correct level
with a Hot fix applied as well."
"... There are Security advisories telling us that there
is a new strain of this Worm to hit the world late this
week or this weekend. Everyone needs to make sure their
machine is patched and that their data is backed up and
protected. "
I ran Windows Update and was told that I need no
updates.
I have Norton AntiVirus - can they help?

Visit http://microsoft.com/downloads/detai...displaylang=en and download, then install the patch.
