How do you install XP Hotfix from Update Catalog?

How do you install XP Hotfix from Update Catalog?: Posted by Mark Scott on July 27th, 2003; Thanks in advance...

Ive downloaded all the relevant fixes for my system from Windows Update
Catalogue.
Now I have them listed in there relevant folders but how do you install
them?
Or how do you run them?

Am I missing a program?
Or what do I do with them now?

They are nested deeply in the download.
Simply go to the .exe file and run it.
