I downloaded the new version of Internet explorer and now
some programmes don't work anymore how can I get back to
the previous explorer that I had
or how can I get back to the settings that I had on my
computer yesterday???

You run System Restore from Accessories > System Tools.

go to control panel...left click on "performance and
maintenance"... then left click on upper left corner
on "system restore"... it will prompt you to choose a
date to reset things... good luck!
