Recently, Microsoft was up-dating my systems and it
told me that it found some errors and I clicked
on the wrong thing and all information that had been
up-dated was gone and my computer lost most of all
of the up-dates. Now I'm back in the dark ages,
back to when I first had it installed. All of my Norton
Virus protection is gone, so I'm trying to reconstruct
what's lost. I have Windows 98 5.0 version and need to up-
date that version.
I also had a problem with Windows Word and my son
contacted Microsoft and found out that the problem was
something to do with Normal Dot which had to be
overridden. Going back in time may also have affected
my Word program. Anyway,I need to know how to up-date
my system and maybe you can also tell me how to go back
in time and avoid all the hassel of up-dating all that
