Every time I try to install anything, I just keep getting
messages saying 'Windows cannot load installer
for....please consult your vendor. This applies to
everything, mouse, keyboard, hdc(?)volume etc.Is there
any point updating and is it the fault of Packard Bell?

Please post the operating system and the exact error message you receive
when installing updates from Windows Update.

If this not Windows Update related then you may want to post in operating
