- Internet explorer not working?

After installing automatic updates about a week ago, a
bunch of "x's" began to show up in the place of pictures,
in internet explorer. Can anyone PLEASE help?

Try either right-clicking on IE icon on desktop and
selecting Properties, or within IE, select Tools-

Have you checked your IE settings under "Internet
Options"? Under the Tools menu header on the top left of
the screen, you should find "Internet Options" in the drop
down menu. Once you open that, the far right tap should
be tagged "Advanced". Under that tab, check the
Multimedia section and be sure that the following are
checked (activated): Show Pictures, Enable Automatic
Image Resizing, Plan animations in web pages, Play sounds
in web pages, Play videos in web pages.
If these are checked (activated), then your automatic
update may not have properly installed. I recommend re-
installing the updates and see what happens.
