I'm going nuts trying to get this Window Update problem resolved. I see that a lot of people are having the same problem. KB828026 has been installed on my XP Pro many, many times & Windows Update still tells me that it's available. I've tried many recommended fixes to no avail. I've tried Doug Knox's .VBS Hotfix script. It didn't work. I've deleted from the registry and reinstalled. It didn't solve the problem. Is this a Microsoft problem that they will correct? Like I said before, a lot of people are having the exact same problem. Oh, I did a search of my C: drive, and KB828026 is located at C:WINDOWS/Prefetch/WINDOWSMEDIA-KB828026-X86-ENU-20C7F919.pf. It does not show up in my add/remove programs list in the control panel
