KB832483 Problem, need help

Hi everybody, i have successfully installed the critical update KB832483 (Data Access) in two computers, the hardware configuration of them is different of each other. After the installation a wired thing happen to the internet explorer. When i type an address and hit enter nothing happens for 1 or 2 minutes then the site opens, some times in the status bar shows "Detecting proxy...", and sometimes the program works as usual. Why this is happening? Please Help.

Jorge,

Are you using a proxy server ? If not, open Internet Options via the
Control Panel. Click the Connections tab, then the LAN Settings button.
Uncheck the box under " Proxy server " , click OK, Apply, OK.
